NOAC 2012 Location Announced

Get Ready! Preparations are already underway for the 2012 National OA Conference at Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing, MI. MSU has a hosted a NOAC before in 2006 on their beautiful campus. The tentative date for the 2012 NOAC is July 30th through August 4th, 2012. Save the date today! Watch for details about NOAC 2012 coming in the Fall of 2011.

The cost for the 2012 NOAC has been set at $420.00 per participant. (This does not include transportation)

What is the National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC)?

Beginning July 30, 2012, over 7000 arrowmen, including a contingent from Erie Shores Counc i l , converge on Michigan State University for the 31st NOAC. What is NOAC? Here is the official description from the NOAC website:

In the summer of 2012, arrowmen from around the country have the unique opportunity to gather together for the National Order of the Arrow Conf e r enc e c ommonly referred to as NOAC. NOACs generally have over 7,000 Arrowmen in attendance that are seeking many of the aspects you are looking for: fun, fun and more fun. Each time a conference is held, Arrowmen coming from around the world gather at a major university to share their ideas on lodge leadership, activities, and ceremonies as well as participate in a large variety of competitions. This six day adventure is unlike any other event in Scouting and is unique to just members of the Order of the Arrow. NOAC is comprised of all aspects of the Order , which include ceremonial evaluations to learning about the latest in metalsmithing capabilities. A typical NOAC day consists of the following:
